Whether absolute beginner or adult wishing to improve their playing, each lesson is properly structured to meet the needs of every individual pupil. Lessons are primarily given weekly on a one to one basis and normally last for 1/2 an hour. Many advanced students and adults prefer to come in for a 1 hour lesson.

I teach in a dedicated music room on a high quality Welmar upright piano that is regularly tuned to concert pitch.

Tuition is to the Associated Board and Trinity Guildhall syllabus from Grade 1 beginner up to Grade 8 advanced.

If pupils do not wish to train for examination levels, I can also teach light and popular musical styles.

The first lesson is always free of charge. This enables us to have an informal chat about what you or indeed your child would like to learn and also enables me to assess your level and structure the appropriate lessons.

Further lessons are charged at £25 per 1/2 hour and are normally booked on a term's basis.
